The Cleveland Cavaliers turned their season around when they acquired Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith in a trade with the New York Knicks in January, and both players have played much better in Cleveland than they did in Madison Square Garden.
After the Cavs advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals Thursday night with a victory over the Chicago Bulls, Smith took to Instagram to remind everyone of that fact:
Smith also took a shot at the Knicks when the Cavs played New York at MSG in February: “Funny we’re in the situation we’re in. Tyson [Chandler] in Dallas playing well, me and Shump here playing well. We weren’t the fit they were looking for. Hopefully they find it."
