The Cleveland Cavaliers are just getting warmed up.
After sending shooting guard Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the three-team trade where they netted shooting guards Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith from the New York Knicks, the Cavs are still pursuing a deal for Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov.
Denver has been reluctant to deal Mosgov, but the Cleveland could use the first-round pick they also got from the Thunder could sweeten the deal.
"My friends talk about it, but I just say, 'If you're talking, don't invite me, OK?" Mozgov told the Denver Post. "It's simple. They can talk about it with each other, but I know nothing about it."
Mozgov is averaging 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in 25.6 minutes a game so far this year.
