The Cleveland Cavaliers have expressed interest in backup point guard Jordan Farmar, who recently became a free agent after being bought out by the Los Angeles Clippers.
Cleveland has not been shy in their pursuit of another backup point guard to compete with Matthew Dellavedova, as they're also going after Nate Robinson. Robinson had his contract bought out by the Boston Celtics after being traded from the Denver Nuggets.
Farmar did not have a great first half of the season with the Clippers as we was never able to get on the same page with head coach Doc Rivers, averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 assists in 14.7 minutes a game.
As a member of the Lakers last season, he averaged 10.1 points, 4.9 assists and shot 44 percent from three-point range. Farmar also has ties with Cavs coach David Blatt, having played for him in 2011 with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
