The Cleveland Cavs are on the lookout for depth at the point, and they are looking to the Chinese Basketball Association for potential options.
Here's Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon-Journal with the scoop:
If they don’t trade for a point guard, keep an eye on Will Bynum and Bobby Brown. Both are playing in China and won’t be available until after the Chinese playoffs in March, but the Cavs are interested in both. Bynum would be a much cleaner add than Brown, who still has two years left on his deal with DongGuan, but they’ll have competition.
The Cleveland Cavs will likely at least dip their toes in the trade waters in hopes of finding a guard before the February deadline, but Bynum and Brown are two intriguing options that are also reportedly garnering interest for other teams looking to fill out their bench heading into the season's second half.
