Breaking: LeBron James signs multi-year deal to return to Cleveland

The King is back in Cleveland.

LeBron James has signed a five-year max contract to return to the Cleveland Cavs - just four years after his controversial 2010 free-agent decision sent him packing for South Florida and the Miami Heat.

As the Cavs' first overall selection in the 2003 NBA Draft, James helped lead Cleveland to five straight playoff berths from 2005-10 and a NBA Finals appearance in 2007. However, the lure of playing with friends Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami proved too strong for the Akron, Ohio native during the summer of 2010 - James announced his departure from Cleveland for Miami during a now-infamous televised ESPN special simply titled "The Decision."

However, all of the anger and fervor over James' move doesn't matter anymore as the second LeBron Era of Cleveland Cavs basketball is now officially underway.
