In tonight's huge Cavs rumors and news update, the Cleveland Cavaliers and owner Dan Gilbert have reportedly agreed to a five-year contract extension with star point guard Kyrie Irving.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Cavs stated intention of offering Irving the max to remain in Cleveland was followed through upon in their face-to-face meeting in New Jersey:
Kyrie Irving intends to sign 5-year, $90 million extension with the Cavaliers, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Commitment came in meeting.

This ends a long period of speculation as to whether or not Irving was truly happy to be playing in Cleveland with a resounding yes for both the team itself and Cleveland Cavaliers fans all over.
