The Cleveland Cavaliers have rolled through the playoffs to this point, sweeping their way into the Eastern Conference Finals. Now comes a matchup with the Toronto Raptors, but they aren't expected to provide the Cavs with too much of a test. Here are three reasons why the Cavs will win the series and make their second straight NBA Finals appearance:
3) Three-point shooting
Cleveland has turned into a three-point shooting juggernaut during the playoffs, making more threes in the first two rounds that almost any other team in NBA history has made - in an entire postseason. It's been the biggest reason behind their surge to being arguably the new favorites to win the title, and it will carry them past the Raptors again.
2) Experience
As mentioned above, this is the second straight year this group has made it to the Eastern Conference Finals - and it's the sixth straight year for LeBron James. For Toronto, this is the first time they've advanced past the second round in franchise history. This is a new experience for virtually everyone on their roster, and the lights will be too bright for them.
1) 3>2
Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are as good as any backcourt in the league outside of the Warriors, and they've combined to score at least 50 points for the past three games. However, three is more than two, and Cleveland's Big 3 should easily outplay them. Plus, J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson are better than Toronto's others of DeMarre Carroll, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas.
