The Cleveland Cavaliers hold the No. 24 and No. 53 draft picks, but we know that GM David Griffin isn't afraid to make a bold trade. Here are three deals the Cavs could make on draft night:
3) Trade No. 24 pick to Spurs for No. 26 pick, future second-round pick
This move is counting on having someone the Spurs really like falling to No. 24, but they would be willing to give up a future asset to move up two spots if that was the case. Cleveland's roster is already pretty much set, so moving back two spots won't be a big deal when developing players for the future.
2) Trade No. 24 pick, No. 53 pick, cash to Bucks for No. 17 pick
This is a much more aggressive option, but without a lot of playing time available, Cleveland could be willing to give away both their picks to draft someone they feel may be able to step in and fill a role right away. Trey Lyles is someone the Cavs really like, and with Kevin Love entering free agency, they could draft him for insurance at the position if he's still available.
1) Trade No. 24 pick, Brandon Haywood to Sixers for No. 35 pick, No. 37 pick
Philadelphia is looking to move back into the first round by using some combination of their five second-round picks, and Cleveland would gladly take two in order to get rid of Haywood's $10.5 million expiring contract.
