The Browns and offensive line coach Andy Moeller agreed to part ways, according to a statement issued Tuesday by the team and the assistant's agent.
The Browns suspended Moeller indefinitely Sept. 7 after his fianceé, Sandra Lucci, accused him of assault. During a 911, she said Moeller “tried to strangle me and beat me up” the night of Sept. 5 at his home in Berea. Last week, Berea prosecutor Jim Walters announced Moeller would not be charged in the case.
Here is the joint statement from the Browns and Paul R. Sheehy, Moeller's agent:
"The Browns and Offensive Line Coach Andy Moeller have mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately.
