Panthers add another player to the secondary

Coming into this season, the Carolina Panthers thought they had upgraded their secondary, bringing on cornerback Charles “Peanut” Tillman and safety Kurt Coleman.

With these additions, it appeared as if the Panthers would be strong in this aspect. Throughout the season, the secondary was strong and Coleman led the Panthers in interceptions.

Tillman and Coleman teamed with Josh Norman and Roman Harper, with Bene Benwikere coming off the

bench, to shut down the opposing team’s best receivers.

It appeared as if a few weeks ago, this secondary would go into the playoffs as a strong group who each team the Panthers faced, would be scared.
