Today, BYU announced that Ed Lamb is coming back to the Cougars, this time as the Assistant Head Coach:

Lamb played for the Cougars as a defensive end from 1994-96 before moving on to his coaching career. In 2001 Coach Lamb joined the Cougars staff for the first time as a graduate assistant before moving on to the University of Idaho.
In all Lamb has 19 years of experience as a college coach, with the last eight years as the head coach at Southern Utah University.
