BYU forced turnovers, shared the ball, and knocked down threes to continue their hot start in a 85-56 win over Fresno State Friday night in Salt Lake City. This is the first time in Mark Pope’s 5 seasons as BYU head coach that the Cougars have been 7-0.
Jaxson Robinson led all scorers with 24 points on 6-8 shooting from deep and Spencer Johnson scored 22 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Fouss missed his first game of the year with a hamstring and knee injury, but Aly Khalifa got the start and showed why he is arguably the best passing big man in the nation with 5 assists while directing BYU’s offense from the high post.
