The Buffalo Bills are losing a fast-rising executive, as Dan Morgan is headed back to the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers announced that they’ve hired Morgan as their new Assistant General Manager on Saturday afternoon.
It’s a touching reunion for the Panthers and Morgan, who was their first round draft choice in 2001. Morgan was part of the defensive unit that took the team to Super Bowl XXXVIII, before injuries ultimately caused the end to his career.
After retiring in 2008, Morgan joined the Seattle Seahawks as an intern in 2010.
