The Brooklyn Nets swapped their 2015 first-round pick with the Atlanta Hawks, placing the Nets at #29 instead of #15. However, GM Billy King isn't content with hanging around at the edge of the first round.
"I will say that we’re trying to move up in the draft," King said, via Thomas Duffy of Nets Daily. "We’ll explore options to get higher. … We already know of some teams who maybe want to move their pick so we’ll be talking to them next week."

The Nets don't have a lot of viable trade chips to work with unless a team is willing to take on Deron Williams or Joe Johnson's contract and/or Brooklyn decides Mason Plumlee is expendable.
However, that doesn't mean King isn't going to do his very best to cobble something together, providing an impact young talent to a franchise facing to two potential first-round swaps in 2016-17 and a loss of their 2018 first-rounder to the Boston Celtics.
