With the clock winding down before the NBA trade deadline, several teams have stepped up their pursuit of Celtics PG Rajon Rondo - unsurprisingly, that list includes the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets and Celtics are reportedly discussing a deal that would send Rajon Rondo to Houston for Chandler Parsons and multiple draft picks. While there have been whispers linking Rondo to Houston for several days now, things picked up steam yesterday when Fox Sports' Sam Amico reported that sources told him the Rockets believe they can acquire Rondo.
Daryl Morey is reportedly hesitant to trade Parsons, a rapidly-improving player who has become extremely popular with fans. Morey is willing to offer two first-rounders if Parsons stays off the table, but Celtics GM Danny Ainge is set on Parsons being a key component of the deal.
