In Celtics rumors tonight, the Boston Celtics may once again dangle star guard Rajon Rondo on the trade market this offseason, especially if the Los Angeles Lakers come calling.
So states Lauren Moranor of Sports World Report: "Ainge recently spoke to the media noting the Celtics wanted All-Star players on their team. After letting going Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Teddy last offseason, Rajon Rondo was the only marquee player left. Now, the Celtics are ready to add some big names in order to properly rebuild."
Per Moranor, WEEI's Ben Rohrbach reports that, when questioned if any player on the current roster was untradeable, Ainge emphatically stated no.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been posited by many NBA analysts as a potential major player for Rondo if veteran guard Steve Nash either retires or is forced to come back in a limited capacity.
However, currently this is all just conjecture which falls in line with almost every offseason in regard to Rajon Rondo.
