In today's look into Celtics rumors and news, the Boston Celtics have re-signed free agent point guard Avery Bradley, extending a multi-year contract to Bradley after offering him the qualifying amount of $3.6 million on Monday.
According to the Boston Globe, Bradley's deal extends for four years at a value of $32 million.
Bradley's deal is fully guaranteed, per Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, and it looks like he wasn't going to find a much better financial situation if he would have fully tested the open market:
One league source on whether another team might have offered more than $8 million per year to Bradley: "Not a chance in hell."

MassLive.com's Jay King also indicates that the Celtics were still very smart to go high-end in offering him $8 million per season:
That being said, Bradley wasn't going to make too much less than $8 mil per year no matter what. Especially after the Meeks deal.

With Bradley taken care of, the Celtics can turn their attentions to outside free agents and/or a potential trade to augment and improve their roster.
