The Boston Celtics announced that forward Jared Sullinger will miss the rest of the season with a fracture in his foot.
He suffered a left metatarsal stress fracture in his foot during Boston’s final game before the All-Star break against the Atlanta Hawks.
Sullinger averaged 14.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in 51 games for the Celtics this season. Veteran forward Brandon Bass should take over Sullinger's role, and newly-acquired Jonas Jerebko will see more minutes.
