The Boston Celtics are prepared to participate in the summer league in Utah known as the Rocky Mountain Revue should the event be revived, according to the Boston Herald. The event ended in 2008, but there have been recent calls to bring it back.
Boston will also have a team in the Las Vegas Summer League because they figure to have a lot of young players in need of development. This will be the second time the Celtics have played in two summer leagues.
The Celtics participated in the Orlando Pro Summer League in 2014, but because they will be playing in two leagues, they decided it would be better to do leagues in adjoining states.
It's unclear how many draft picks the Celtics will have in June's NBA Draft because of various protections on picks, but they know they'll have at least two first-round draft picks (their own and the Clippers' pick) and two second-round draft picks (their own and Philly's).
