The Boston Celtics surprised many in 2014-15 by making the NBA Playoffs in a supposed rebuilding year. Shooting guard Avery Bradley believes that the Celtics could add extra layers of shock in 2015-16 by making a run at an NBA championship.
"I'm telling all of my friends and all of my teammates if we continue to work and prepare for next year, anything is possible for us," Bradley said to the Boston Globe. "We made it to the playoffs this year and nobody expected us. Why not get to the championship? No one is expecting us to do it. Why not?"
Bradley, 24, is a de facto veteran during the Celtics' current youth movement. With that in mind, Bradley committed to remaining a optimistic on-court extension of coach Brad Stevens' philosophy during the team's playoff push.
"Just always keeping a positive attitude, that was the biggest thing for us," Bradley said.. "With a young team, you can have your ups and downs, some guys after a few losses can get down on each other. I was always the guy trying to come in positive every single day."
