MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin running back Corey Clement desperately wants to play football again and help his team. He also doesn't want the fear of uncertainty stemming from a surgically repaired sports hernia to hinder his return.
It is a conundrum only Clement can solve. And the timetable on him reaching an answer will determine whether he plays this Saturday against Illinois, for the first time in seven weeks.
Clement, who spoke with reporters Tuesday night in his first interview session since undergoing surgery in Germany three weeks ago, said his status for the game was uncertain.
