The Big Ten is the best football conference in all of college football right now and I think it is hard to argue. Currently, five teams in the AP Top 25 and the overall balance in the conference is why it is the best in all of college football.

14.) Rutgers
Rutgers needs help on both sides of the ball and hopefully, they have made some improvements on offense in their bye week.
13.)Illinois
The wide receivers on this team are the strength. If they can get more solid quarterback play they will start to climb up this list.
12.) Northwestern
The quarterback play is not good for Northwestern. Four interceptions in the last two games aren't going to win you many games.
11.) Minnesota
The defense is playing alright but they really need to get some life out of the passing game.
10.) Indiana
Peyton Ramsey is talented and fits this offense really well. If they could find a running game and play better defense this team will climb up the ladder.

9.) Nebraska
Beat up by Wisconsin but were previously 2-0 in the Big Ten
8.) Purdue
A crazy win over Minnesota. You have to be good to be lucky.
7.) Maryland
Want to talk about being unlucky at the quarterback position. Look no further than Maryland. Sure this team got stomped by the Buckeyes but they have shown promise this season.
6.) Iowa
They were able to snap their two-game losing streak. They have a bye week and then will play Northwestern

5.) Michigan
Poor quarterback play is the story here. Too many turnovers that the defense couldn't overcome. If the Michigan defense wasn't so good this Michigan team would be in serious trouble.
4.) Michigan State
A huge win in the Big House. In the top 25 now and this team will give Big Ten teams fits this season.
3.) Wisconsin
What a running game Wisconsin has. Serious offensive line play and they win in the trenches.
2.) Ohio State
Since they lost to Oklahoma this team has woken up. Really clicking on both sides of the ball
1.) Penn State
Great defense, and the Heisman front-runner. if they want to stay on top they need better quarterback play from TraceMcSorley.
