Big Ten Football’s 10 Best Committed Recruits For 2016 So Far

The Big Ten is one of the best conferences in college football. With great recruiters like Jim Harbaugh and Urban Meyer in the conference, it's no surprise that the Big Ten is luring incredible talent. While Michigan and Ohio State dominate this list, several other schools have commitments from high school players with bright futures. This is based on Rivals.com's rankings and every player on this list is a top 85 recruit. With that in mind, here are Big Ten Football’s 10 Best Committed Recruits For 2016 So Far:

10. Dwayne Haskins, QB, Maryland
Haskins is a four-star recruit and the No. 83 overall player. He's currently committed to Maryland, but that might not stay the case. Ohio State is recruiting him hard and he could flip from Maryland.

9. Josh King, DE, Michigan State
King is four-star recruit and the No. 80 overall player. He's the only Top 100 recruit Michigan State has. The Spartans have produced several talented defensive ends under Mark Dantonio and King could be the next great one.

8. DeMario McCall, ATH, Ohio State
A four-star recruit that's ranked No. 78 overall, McCall is the first of several Buckeyes on this list. McCall played mostly running back in high school, but could become the next version of Jalin Marshall for Ohio State.

7. Ben Bredeson, OL, Michigan
Bredeson is a four-star recruit out of Wisconsin and could be a staple on the Michigan offensive line for several years. He's the No. 65 overall recruit according to Rivals.com.

6. Miles Saunders, RB, Penn State
Saunders is the only Penn State recruit to make the list. A four-star recruit, Saunders is the No. 1 recruit from Pennsylvania. He's the No. 64 overall player.

5. Jonathon Cooper, DE, Ohio State
Cooper would be the top DE for Ohio State, but someone higher on this list outranks him. He's a four-star recruit and the No. 63 overall player.

4. Jake Hausmann, TE, Ohio State
Back-to-back Ohio State players and Hausmann isn't the last. He's the No. 3 TE and the No. 56 overall recruit.

3. Kareem Walker, RB, Michigan
Walker was an Ohio State commit, before he flipped to Michigan as Chat Sports reported he would do months ago. He's top Michigan recruit so far and is the No. 1 running back. He's the 41st best recruit in the class of 2016.

2. Keandre Jones, LB, Maryland
That's right, Maryland has the second-best committed recruit in the Big Ten. He's from Maryland and is the best player in the state. The five-star OLB is the gem of Maryland's class.

1. Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State
Buckeye fans know that last name well, as Nick is the younger brother of star OSU DE Joey Bosa. The younger Bosa is a five-star recruit and the second-best DE in the nation. He's the No. 16 overall recruit and the prize of Ohio State's class.
