The Ravens today promoted rookie running back Terrence Magee from their practice squad to the 53-man roster, a move that calls into question whether starting tailback Justin Forsett will be ready to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
Forsett is dealing with an ankle injury and missed practice for most of the week. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report. He said things were headed in the right direction, but he felt that he’d be a game-time decision.
If Forsett can’t play, that would leave the Ravens with three rookie running backs: likely starter Buck Allen, Raheem Mostert, who was claimed off waivers Wednesday, and Magee.
