In today's Hawks news update, the Atlanta Hawks have signed free agent guard Kent Bazemore to a two-year deal, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com
Per Stein, the Hawks picked up the former Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers reserve on the relative cheap:

After acquiring the 24-year-old swingman in a trade which sent Steve Blake to Oakland this past season, the Lakers decided to decline giving Bazemore a $1.11 million qualifying offer this offseason - sending him into unrestricted free agency.
Given his first chance to play extended minutes in the NBA, Bazemore shined under former Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni. He averaged 13.1 points in 28 minutes per game, exhibiting enough in those 23 games to pique the Hawks' interest (along with several other teams).
After the departure of Lou Williams via trade, the Hawks have now found a cost-effective addition to their depth in the backcourt.
