The University of Arizona's process to hire Tommy Lloyd as its head basketball coach has left some prominent alumni of the men's basketball program "disappointed" and with big questions about the way the search to replace Sean Miller was handled.
Former Arizona great Richard Jefferson was very outspoken about it in a recent Facebook post.
“Let me first say this … Welcome to the family Coach Lloyd!!,” Jefferson wrote. “If it hasn’t hit you yet - the magnitude of this hire - I’m sure it will continue to hit you in waves. You have my 100% support and I look forward to meeting you.
