Arizona baseball blown out at Washington State for third straight loss

Arizona has officially hit its first true bump in the road this season, though the last game probably felt more like a sinkhole than pothole.

The Wildcats lost 21-2 at Washington State on Friday afternoon, their season-worst third consecutive setback.

Down 3-0 after one inning, any chance of a UA comeback was obliterated when WSU (17-12, 5-8 Pac-12) scored 10 runs in the bottom of the second. The Cougars led 15-0 after three frames and added six more in the sixth after Arizona (21-11, 7-6) scored twice in the top of the inning.

Starter Chase Silseth (5-1) was chased after 1.
