WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. & ATLANTA, Ga. – The App State men's and women's track and field team split for the Wake Forest and Georgia Tech Invitationals on Friday. The day's action was highlighted by a new men's 5,000-meter school record as well as 27 top-25 finishes.
Action at the Georgia Tech Invitational will continue on Saturday with field events at 11 a.m. and track events at 1 p.m.

Junior started the day by setting a new men's 5,000-meter school record, stopping the clock at 14:18.05 at the Wake Forest Invitational.
