DESTIN, FLA. – It was vintage Nick Saban.
College football’s most successful coach isn’t a fan of some of the new recruiting rules and the early signing period passed by the NCAA.
Saban was asked at the SEC spring meetings if he’s frustrated that some rules adopted through the years seemed to be directly aimed at some envelope Alabama has pushed.
“Look, I don’t get frustrated,” said Saban, whose raised voice and facial expression seemed to suggest otherwise. “I try to deal with things the best way that we can, so why get frustrated?”
Saban was upset last year when Alabama defensive back Maurice Smith, a graduate transfer, was allowed to go to Georgia.
