Jalen Hurts teams up with elite athletic trainer and is making a push to be the Eagles’ starting QB

When he locks in on a goal, Jalen Hurts goes into tunnel vision.

He wants to be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the native Texan is putting work in. After finding a quarterback coach in Quincy Avery, Hurts has now teamed up with an elite athletic trainer to prepare himself. Bobby Stroupe, founder and CEO of the Athlete Performance Enhancement Center (APEC) in Tyler, Texas, is the long-time trainer of Patrick Mahomes II. Stroupe was a mentor in Mahomes’ run to the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2019 NFL season.

Stroupe is now training Hurts to be QB1 for the Eagles.
