Alabama fans had quite the head-scratching affair on Twitter Tuesday morning after waking up to multiple pictures posted online on wide receiver John Metchie disparaging Alabama head coach Nick Saban, insinuating he would be smoking marijuana and sharing that he had been kicked off of the team.
To little surprise, it turns out that this was a classic case of an athlete’s account being hacked. Sources informed Touchdown Alabama’s Stephen M. Smith that Metchie did not post these photos or comments and that someone was able to break into his Snapchat account and make these posts.
