The message was written on Minkah Fitzpatrick's right wristband Saturday night: "4/4."
It was a tribute to Eddie Jackson, Alabama's star senior safety that suffered a season-ending leg injury against Texas A&M Oct. 22.
Fitzpatrick, the Tide's standout sophomore defensive back, said Alabama players have dedicated the rest of the season to Jackson. There were several Tide players with tributes to Jackson on their accessories Saturday night against LSU.
Fitzpatrick was one. Fitzpatrick said outside linebacker Tim Williams and defensive backs Hootie Jones and Ronnie Harrison were among the others.
Jackson was No. 4. The message on Fitzpatrick's wristband was Four for Four.
