The Alabama Crimson Tide are still in the midst of spring practice in preparation for the 2016 season, but that doesn't mean head coach Nick Saban and his staff have taken a step back on the recruiting trail. Here are all the latest news and rumors surrounding Alabama recruiting.
Demetris Robertson Update
Believe it or not, there is still a five-star 2016 recruit available. WR Demetris Robertson is the No. 24 overall recruit in the nation and has yet to decide where to play. He's weighing offers from Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama and Stanford, although he's still working on getting into Stanford.
Robertson is visiting Georgia this weekend, but Alabama can still land their former commit. Robertson's sister is heading to Alabama A&M on a track scholarship, and having her in the same state might convince Robertson to join the Crimson Tide. Bama already has the top recruiting class in 2016, but adding Robertson would make it even better.
Three-Star LB To Visit
The Tide will be getting a visit from three-star LB Tadarrius Patterson Monday, reports 247Sports. Patterson doesn't have an offer from Alabama yet, but he's hoping to get one. The in-state recruit has visited Alabama several times already. He holds offers from schools like Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisville and Mississippi State.
Bama In Mix For DT
The Crimson Tide are in the mix for three-star DT Kivon Bennett. He's the son of Alabama player Cornelius Bennett and that gives the Tide an advantage.
"It does. It most definitely does help them ... I grew up a Bama fan," Bennett told 247Sports.
Alabama offered Bennett in January.
