Myles Murphy, former North Carolina defensive tackle, was signed as an undrafted free agent on Saturday night to the Arizona Cardinals. Murphy, who is 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, was a force up front on previous Tar Heel defenses. Presumably, Murphy was a sixth or seventh round talent, but he unfortunately had to wait until the drafts conclusion to find his next home.
As all UDFA’s do, Myles Murphy will be on the outside looking in as training camp begins in Glendale. That said, Murphy’s size in the trenches saw him occupying multiple offensive guards in Chapel Hill, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear of Murphy making some noise as practice begins.
