As the final buzzer sounds on her collegiate basketball journey, Jane Asinde celebrates not only a victorious career on the court but also a triumph in academia, marking her graduation from college as a testament to her dedication and excellence both on and off the hardwood.
Growing up, Asinde says she was a shy girl in Kampala, Uganda bullied for being quiet and taller than the other kids. Through playing basketball and meeting other people who were her height, Asinde’s confidence began to grow.
