TOLEDO, Ohio – Graduate student Laura Nicholson, freshman Mercy Kinyanjui, and freshman Nora Hark have each earned All-MAC honors, the Mid-American Conference office announced today. Nicholson and Kinyanjui were named First-Team All-MAC, while Hark was a Second-Team All-MAC honoree.
The three selections follow the trio capturing a combined five individual medals (four gold, one silver) and 48 points during last weekend's MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in DeKalb, Ill.
Nicholson won the 1500m (4:23.32) and the 800m (2:07.83), running the events just two hours apart on Saturday. She hit a personal-best time in the 800m, which ranks second in program history.
