I was recently looking through the archive history here at Bright Side of the Sun and I saw that, once upon a time this site, used to cover the WNBA. The Phoenix Mercury had a regular place on Bright Side and we provided coverage about one of the two professional teams to win a championship in the Valley.
In 2016, that coverage subsided. I’m not sure of the reasoning, but it might equate to the fact that the Mercury were on the downside of their successes. They last won a title in 2014 after winning a franchise-record 29 games.
