Rory McIlroy has notched his second PGA Tour win of the 2024 season.
After winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April, McIlroy followed up the outstanding performance with a win at the Wells Fargo Championship on Sunday.
McIlroy finished 17-under par on Sunday at Quail Hollow in North Carolina to beat Xander Schauffele, who finished 12-under par. McIlroy carded a six-under 65 to round out his weekend.
With McIlroy rounding into peak form, fans are liking his chances at next week's PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.
McIlroy has won a pair of PGA Championships, but his last came in 2014.
