Cecconi’s Mid-Inning Struggles Continue
The loss will be hung on Slade Cecconi, who once again ran into significant adversity as he tried to navigate a second trip through the Cincinnati lineup. But the Arizona offense was equally terrible, amassing only six hits in the game.
Slade Cecconi said that he's been trying to place his pitches too much as starts go on, causing a downtick in velocity.
